Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. Our aim is for you to always feel informed and empowered with respect to your privacy on the collegeadmissions.guide website.

The Information We Collect:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on our website. On some pages including our contact page, individuals may request resources/referrals to programs, download materials, or request a newsletter.

The Way We Use Information:

We use the information you provide about yourself when submitting information only to facilitate your request. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that request. We use return email addresses to enroll users in who request to subscribe to our newsletter and to respond to visitors who use our web site contact form. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with funders and partnering organizations. For example, we may report to a funder that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of consumers and Z number of professionals filled out our contact form, but we do not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. To this end, we also track website trends without identifying individual visitors.Individuals may manage their receipt of any marketing communications or electronic newsletters by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any college admissions marketing email. Any “unsubscribe” requests will remove individuals from all of our marketing contact lists, and a user would need to send a request to findingyourpathtoyes@gmail.com or to a specific program contact to be added back to a mailing list. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We take  reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information and Other Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We encourage individuals to take special precaution in deciding what information you send to us via email or our contact form.

How You Can Access or Correct Your Information

You can access and/or correct any personally identifiable information that we collect and/or maintain by sending a request to findingyourpathtoyes@gmail.com. This includes updates to program registration, organizational contacts, or personal contact information for inclusion on our mailing lists. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

External Websites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of those websites and is therefore not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those third-party websites. You should check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other websites.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
